The postpartum rebuild. Slow, safe, physio-informed — for anyone 6+ weeks after having a baby, or three years out and never quite restarted.
I'm Em — mum of two, and I've rebuilt my strength twice from scratch, at home, with no spare hours. The Show Up Club is 150+ follow-along workouts between 10 and 30 minutes, programmes that actually get harder as you get stronger, and postpartum paths built with a pelvic health physio. Press play. I'll do the rest. 💪🏻

“I very nearly talked myself out of exercising today, I had a banging headache after work — but I said to myself I'd do 10 mins and see how I feel. Full workout complete and my headache is gone 😅🧡”
“Did this while my 2 year old napped and my 4 year old set up and played with a hotwheels track next to me. It's possible to make it work — sometimes you need to pause the video and come back, but that's okay 👍🏻”
The real hurdle
Not the squats. The argument you have with yourself on the landing, kit on, already talking yourself out of it.
I know it, because I've had it. Two pregnancies, two rebuilds, zero spare time — vomiting for nine months, back to being a beginner, twice. Every plan I could find assumed I had ninety minutes and a full gym.
So I built the opposite. Make the doorway small enough and the argument loses. Ten minutes is not a compromise — it's the whole strategy. Do that most weeks for a year and you will be a different, STRONGER woman. There's no going back, just growing forwards. 🤎
“Instead of seeing myself as 2 weeks behind the plan, I'm trying to see it as 4 weeks ahead of where I was.”
How it works
Three rules. Everything in the app obeys them.
Dumbbells and a band if you've got them, bodyweight if you haven't. No gym, no 90-minute session you'll postpone twice and then abandon.
Workouts repeat on purpose, so you can add weight or reps and watch it happen. The same session, four weeks later, feels like a different session.
Miss a day, miss a fortnight — you're not behind, you're right on time for your journey. Exercise here is a pleasure, not a punishment.
Proof
Not before-and-after photos. These are real comments members left under the workouts, this year, from Reading to Boston to the Scottish Highlands.
“The difference between day 1 stamina and day 14 stamina is so noticeable. Bulgarian split squats didn't kill me off and I added an extra 2 reps per set too (did regret that by round 3 🤣). Can't wait for tomorrow!”
“For so long I avoided weights, especially shoulder exercises, because of an old shoulder injury. But just got through this and feeling strong! 🥳 I put my ego aside and started with what I could truly handle, and I've built strength, endurance and confidence over the past several months.”
“I'm so glad these are 30 minute workouts — this evening I only had 30 minutes of energy left in me, I couldn't give any more. You've made these workouts achievable and realistic 😊”
“Spicy 🔥🧯 Started struggling towards the end of round 2 but blared some tunes and pushed through to finish strong 💪 My one year old daughter joined in too — love being a good role model for her 💕”
“I loved coming back to this one — having more confidence with the movements has made me able to up my weights from 6 to 10kg on some of the exercises without compromising my form. Loving the progress journey!”
“Just showed up for myself after an 11 hour workday! I am proud 💪 I love the idea that the training is not a must or a punishment, but something we do for ourselves.”
“Unbelievable, what a huge difference between the first time I did this workout and this time! What a surprising amount of strength I've gained in the last 4 weeks. I can definitely feel the consistency 💪”
“This workout was brought to me by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (round 1) and Ms Rachel (round 2) 😂😂 gotta do what you gotta do! Thanks for this one Em ❤️🔥”
“Such a tough one today but feeling so good afterwards! I'm over in Boston and I'm sneaking these sessions in at 5am before commuting to work, and I have never felt more motivated during my workouts 💪🏼”
The bit nobody else can copy
Ask me why your lower back arches on leg raises. Ask me what to swap when your knees are having a day. Ask me whether that's a form problem or a weak glute. A workout you're unsure about is a workout you'll skip — so I answer nearly all of them. Three real exchanges from this year:
“I have occipital neuralgia and glute bridges seem to aggravate it — I think it's the strain on my neck when lying on the floor. Is there an alternative I can do?”
EM Em replied, same day
“No worries! You can just elevate your shoulders so you're in the Hip Thrust position for any Glute Bridge movements 😊 x”
“When I do sumo squats, I notice my knees wanting to go inwards and have to really exert to keep them pushed out. Is that a form problem, or a weakness in my glutes I need to build?”
EM Em replied, next morning
“Potentially a little of both — focus on driving through your heels and pushing your knees out on the way up. Also be mindful your footwear is right: something flat and stable, as running or fashion trainers can cause you to tip forwards or roll inwards x”
“Trying to remember that even though I'm slightly behind plan, I still feel better for showing up as much as I can and not letting it deter me.”
EM Em replied, next day
“Charlotte you are NOT behind, you are right on time for your journey. Reminding yourself each day is an opportunity to show up and reset — you've got this!!”

Qualified, not just experienced
I'm a qualified pre- and post-natal trainer. Every postpartum path is designed to be safe from 6+ weeks, whether you're six weeks or three years out.
Physio-backed Restore
Restore was co-created with Clare Bourne, consultant pelvic & digestive health physiotherapist — so diastasis and pelvic floor aren't afterthoughts, and C-section swaps exist.
Where to start
Start where your body is today, not where it used to be. Every programme has modifications, scale-backs and swaps built in.

The postpartum rebuild. Slow, safe, physio-informed — for anyone 6+ weeks after having a baby, or three years out and never quite restarted.

Deep core and pelvic floor, rebuilt from the inside out. Gentler than anything labelled "abs", and C-section friendly.

The 30-day challenge for restarting. One short workout a day, already scheduled in your calendar, no decisions required.

Seven days, seven short sessions, one body part at a time. The easiest way to find out whether ten minutes is really enough. It is.

For when you do have a gym. Barbell and cable work, upper/lower split, written sets, reps and RPE — updated monthly.

When you're ready to commit properly. Eight weeks of progressive strength that builds week on week, at home.
What's included
Kitchen floor, hotel room, five spare minutes at your mum's. It travels — iPhone, Android, Apple Watch, desktop, or screen-shared to the TV.

Before you join
A pair of dumbbells and a resistance band will cover almost everything. If you have neither, start with bodyweight — plenty of members do, and every workout has a lower-load option. As you get stronger you'll want heavier dumbbells, which is the good problem to have.
Restore and Restore Core are my postpartum programmes, designed to be safe from 6+ weeks and co-created with Clare Bourne, a consultant pelvic and digestive health physiotherapist. They include C-section-friendly swaps and gentler core work. Start there rather than jumping into a challenge, and get your GP or physio's clearance first. Three years postpartum still counts as postpartum — plenty of members start there.
Yes. Members are training before trying for a baby, coming back from old injuries, squeezing sessions in at 5am before a commute, and lifting alongside their husbands after bedtime. Short, progressive strength training works for anyone short on time.
No. Every workout is follow-along in real time — I demo each move and cue you through it, so there's nothing to count or work out. Start with Sculpt In 7 or Fall Back Into Fitness, scale the weights back as much as you need, and ask me in the comments if anything feels off.
Seven short workouts, one a day, already scheduled for you — nothing to plan and no test to pass. You get the full library too, so you can poke around. It's the fastest way to find out whether ten minutes actually feels like enough.
Ten minutes on a bad day, thirty on a good one. Most members average three to four sessions a week and see a difference in how they feel within a month, and in what they can lift within two.
Any time, in two taps from your account, including during the free trial. If you cancel during the trial you won't be charged at all.
No. I'll never give you a scale target or tell you to bounce back. This is about getting genuinely stronger, having more energy, and feeling like yourself again — healthy, happy and STRONG, which looks and feels different on everybody.
